Moscow, 25th of April. Sparkling fashion gala, annually organized by internationally acclaimed World Fashion Channel in prestigious Radisson Hotel “Ukraine”, attracted the most influential designers, journalists and celebrities for International World Fashion Awards 2012. British designer Giles Deacon, who’s officially won in “The Best Designer of the Year” nomination and turned out to be one of the top guests at the event, presented his new Fall-Winter 2012 collection, that previously was shown in London and became one of the most inspirational and romantic moments of the entire London Fashion Week. For Giles, it was a premier visit to Russia, but far not the first similar award in his life (the designer already possesses “British Fashion Designer of the Year 2006” and was awarded the French ANDAM Fashion Award’s Grand Prix in 2009, among others).

FW 12/13 collection featured truly beautiful couture evening gowns finished with fantastic embroidery and signature prints, along with perfectly tailored suits and tuxedos, and 1960’s inspired pieces. The show was certainly appreciated by celebrity guests and fashion editors, and gave a touch of dark and enchanted fashion romance mood to the event.

As for the other nominations, the following pros of fashion have been awarded:
- The Ambassodor of Italy in Russia Antonio Landi , for his impact and support of Italian Fashion in Russia.

- Alla Verber, Vice President of Mercury Group, for the most creative and smart buying selection in Russian fashion industry
- Ermanno Scervino, as the “Legend of Fashion”
- Cartier, for the best video advertisement of the year.
- Bosco dei Ciliegi, for the event Bosco Fashion Week as the most creative project of the year.
The day after the ceremony in front of the Radisson Hotel “Ukraine” suite, where Giles collection was exposed for fashion press representatives, the numerous photographers lined up, while the editors of most important glossy magazines (Ilektra Kanestri (Vogue), Graschenkova Marina (Harper’s Bazaar), Shevyakova Ksenia (Collezioni), Vera Popova (Elle), Ekaterina Chemagina (In Style), Anna Rykov (Cosmopolitan), Vladimir Gridin (ProFashion), Maria Kaushan, Anastasia Polosina (Fashion Collection), Ekaterina Lozhnikova (Allure), Daria Kunilovskaya (Fashion Daily), Bulgakova Julia (Glamour) came to interview the British designer and look closer at the pieces in a laid back atmosphere.
